HARBIN, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- The "Ice City" Harbin in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province is experiencing a growing influx of visitors drawn to the ice and snow landscapes.

On Monday, the 42nd Ice and Snow Festival opened at Harbin Ice-Snow World, the world's largest ice and snow theme park and the city's landmark tourist attraction.

During the recent three-day New-Year holiday, Harbin welcomed over 4.1 million travelers.
