GLOBALink | Sri Lanka benefiting a lot from the BRI: PM

Sri Lankan Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena has said that his country has benefited a lot from the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), saying that China is seeking cooperation for peace and development.

The prime minister made the remarks in an interview with Xinhua during the ongoing seventh China-South Asia Expo in Kunming, capital of China's Yunnan Province.
