COLOMBO, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- The vibrant, colourful two-day Buddhist procession known as Navam Maha Perahera kicked off Saturday in Colombo. Featuring majestic elephants, traditional dancers and drummers, the event attracts a large crowd near the Gangaramaya Temple every year.
