Opinion: Erasing a finding doesn't erase the heat

As regulatory pressure eases, oil, coal and automotive interests face fewer constraints and lower compliance costs. Emissions, however, continue to accumulate. What is lifted from industry balance sheets may resurface as #climatedamage: hotter summers, stronger storms and mounting public expense.

A signature can erase a finding. It cannot erase the heat.
