GLOBALink|Football meets culture at university football tournament in Xi'an

The 2025 World Elite University Football Tournament in China's Shaanxi province drew eight university football teams from five different countries and regions in the seven-day competition.

Outside the competition, the students paid visits to Xi'an's historical sites and scenic areas, such as the Terracotta Warriors and Kunming Lake.

They also took in performances of intangible cultural heritage, and tried their hand at making Chinese handicrafts.
