Italian fashion designer Valentino Garavani died on Monday at age 93 at his residence in Rome, surrounded by loved ones. For nearly five decades before his 2008 retirement, Valentino defined elegance with his impeccable tailoring, romantic silhouettes and signature red that became synonymous with glamour itself.
