以驚人積雪量而聞名的日本長野縣「かまくらの里」一直以來都是建造雪屋的極佳環境，每年從1月下旬到2月下旬的期間，在白茫茫的雪地上都會出現15-20座不等、圓渾又可愛的雪屋，吸引嚮往冰雪世界的旅客在雪屋中享用熱呼呼的火鍋。

隨著容納人數的不同，在大小不一的雪屋中可以品嚐到以大白菜、蕈菇、里芋等在地蔬菜及信州味噌所製成的當地限定名物「狼煙鍋（のろし鍋）」，搭配另外準備的飯糰，隨著烹煮火鍋所升起的裊裊炊煙，在緩緩開始滴水的雪屋中，體驗窩在冰冷空間中品嚐溫暖美食的獨特感受。
