CAPPADOCIA, Türkiye, Feb. 15 (Xinhua) -- Cappadocia, one of Türkiye's most renowned tourist destinations, celebrated the upcoming Chinese New Year on Sunday with a series of events.
The region is famed for its towering, cone-shaped rock formations, known as "fairy chimneys," which were formed by the erosion of volcanic ash over thousands of years.
Many Chinese visitors are drawn to Cappadocia's dramatic landscape, as well as its pre-dawn hot air balloon rides that offer panoramic views of the area.
