新冠肺炎疫情持續，這段時間最辛苦的，應該是各國的醫護人員，冒著生命危險，日日和病毒搏鬥。而卡塔爾航空宣布，為感謝廣大醫護人員在新冠肺炎疫情期間同行奮鬥，英勇無畏地投身至疫情防控，決定贈送 10 萬張免費機票給醫護人員。

活動由2020 年 5 月 12 日香港時間 5:01 開始至 5 月 19 日 4:59 ，每日香港時間 5:01 卡塔爾航空官方網都會開放名額，以先到先得的方式申請，成功申請的朋友會得到專屬的機票兌換碼。免費機票的申請流程向世界各國的醫護工作人員開放，而免費機票名額將根據該國的人口基數設定。
