One thing about celebrities is that they love their side hustles. While many stars are following Rihanna’s footsteps with Fenty Beauty and venturing into the cosmetics, skincare and beauty industry, others have forayed into the culinary scene. For many celebs, though, it’s not just about making money from a side gig, it’s about connecting with fans differently or offering food that they themselves love eating. Here, Tatler brings you seven restaurants associated with stars—from Hollywood It boy Ryan Gosling to Bollywood producer Karan Johar—that are not just banking on celeb names but also actually serve yummy food that you would want to go back for.

If you’re headed to Seokchon Lake and Lotte World in Seoul, keep an eye out for Ossu Seiromushi in Songpa District. Founded by BTS’s Jin’s brother in 2018, it’s not only a place where Jin and other BTS members are famously spotted, Jin is also said to be the establishment’s director, according to Koreaboo.
Featuring separate rooms with screens, privacy reigns supreme here—we imagine this is a must-have criterion for the K-pop stars who might drop by. On the culinary side, the restaurant specialises in Korean classics—beef, oysters, Jeju pork, steamed dishes and more. Yummy!

Mom’s Spaghetti by Eminem
Opened in 2021 by iconic musician Eminem, this restaurant takes its name from a famous line in the singer’s 2002 song, Lose Yourself, “there’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti”. This fast-food joint in the rapper’s hometown, Detroit, cooks up a simple selection of spaghetti and sandwiches. Think comfort food like spaghetti with meatballs and spaghetti bolognese. In an interview with Rude Jude in 2021, Eminem shared his secret to getting the most out of the walk-up restaurant experience: putting your bite of spaghetti on the slice of garlic bread that comes with it. Thank us later.

Tagine Beverly Hills by Ryan Gosling
You can combine tucking into Moroccan cuisine with Hollywood stargazing at Tagine, a delicious hideaway at the heart of Beverly Hills. Founded by Barbie actor Ryan Gosling in collaboration with celebrity chef Abdessamad Benameur in 2004, the restaurant is said to have only one goal: to make food with love. And it does so successfully through seasonal dishes inspired by recipes from the chef’s grandmother. Try the fish tagine, lamb chops, house mezze and other dishes that the real-life Ken has famously said he could “eat every day for the rest of [his] life.” No wonder it’s such a go-to place for Hollywood A-listers like Meryl Streep, Keanu Reeves and Salma Hayek.

There is always something for everyone here: try the seafood-centric small plates such as chilled oysters or tuna crudo on a solo date or the shareable plates like crab cakes and wagyu meatballs if you’re there in a group.
