Blackpink’s Rosé is Puma’s newest brand ambassador, and both the artist and sportswear brand shared the announcement on Instagram with a campaign video.
While the K-pop idol has experimented with a number of styles due to the nature of her career—from sleek and minimalistic to playful and feminine—she has a penchant for edgier and sporty styles, which complements this new partnership perfectly.
We look back through Rosé’s sportiest ensembles over the years and why her styling worked.

Rosé sported an oversized Green Bay Packers jacket at Coachella in 2023—the year she and the other Blackpink members headlined the iconic festival—and teamed it with a simple black crop top and shorts to balance the proportions of the ensemble. This no-frills ensemble works for a long day at a festival and looks cool in any weather.
No sweat
Hoodies and sweatshirts have become so associated with streetwear that it’s easy to forget their practical origins in sportswear as training gear. Rosé wore this black hoodie and grey crewneck sweatshirt hybrid piece back in May, and when paired with small oval sunglasses, it reads very ’90s athleisure à la Princess Diana.
Throwback trainers
If you’re in the mood for a simple outfit but still want to make a statement, bold sneakers can be the main event. Rosé opted for a pair of green and white Nike high-top Dunks with long socks for another day at Coachella and teamed it with a black tank and mini shorts to let the retro shoes do all the talking.
Mesh mash
Mesh is a fabric that toes the line of sporty and futuristic, and this colourful, slim-fit asymmetrical dress Rosé wore in Copenhagen for a concert in 2022 merges those two style concepts. She introduced yet another style in this ensemble with her plaited hair accessorised with a bow, culminating in the “blokette” style that became popular the following year.
Motorcycle chic
A leather motorcycle jacket is a classic wardrobe staple, and technically sporty if you consider that it was originally designed to protect riders from injury. Rosé wore a more ’80s version of the style, with a large shoulder, a wide lapel and cinched at the waist to further emphasise that silhouette.
