Modern, vibrant restaurant and bar Alibi – Wine Dine Be Social of Cordis, Hong Kong presents two new enticing menus curated by the Western kitchen’s newly appointed executive chef Mark Mak, inviting guests to savour a fresh culinary journey starting from January 2025.
Specialising in modern European cuisine, Mak artfully integrates seasonal and local ingredients to craft innovative dishes that can be enjoyed with Alibi’s artisanal cocktails, including the Mingle Munchies afternoon tea set, with new small bites and sharing menu.
Discover Mingle Munchies Afternoon Tea Experience"
Step away from traditional afternoon tea offerings and immerse yourself in a unique experience with the Mingle Munchies set, featuring five savoury creations and two luscious sweets. This set is complemented by a choice of handcrafted flavoured coffee, including the aromatic ginger honey latte, the refreshing floral espresso sparkling tea, and the classic americano con panna.
One of the savoury highlights is cognac and brandy foie gras mousse, crafted with the finest Rougié foie gras from France. Delicately whipped, this luxurious mousse offers rich flavours and velvety textures. Those with a sweet tooth will be delighted by the whiskey waffle with whiskey ice cream and caramel walnut sauce, featuring a freshly baked waffle infused with the rich flavours of US whiskey, paired with a scoop of homemade ice cream.
For cocktail enthusiasts, enhance your experience with an additional HK$78 per person to enjoy a curated bottled cocktail by bar manager, Billy Lau. Choose from the Truffle Manhattan, a base of bourbon and sweet vermouth with black winter truffle and chocolate bitters, which pairs exquisitely with cognac and brandy foie gras mousse on jar and caviar rice crackers, egg, sour cream and chive. Alternatively, savour the intriguing Earl Grey Smoked Negroni alongside savoury bites like grilled prawn* with chilli, citrus, garlic, onion and the Italian-style pancetta, yellow chicken and semi-dried cherry tomato.
Priced at HK$338 for two persons, the Mingle Munchies afternoon tea set is available for guests from January 6, 2025, onwards.
