GLOBALink | UFC Senior VP hails "unique" Chinese market

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will make its return to Shanghai on August 23 for a special "Fight Night" event at the Shanghai Indoor Arena.

Speaking to Xinhua, Kevin Chang, UFC Senior Vice President and Head of Asia, underlined the importance of Chinese market to the sport.

"We have aspirations of being a global iconic brand. You can't become a global iconic brand without becoming a mainstream sport in China," he said.
