CHENGDU, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Taipei duo Wu Fang-hsien and Liang En-shuo beat China's Guo Hanyu and Jiang Xinyu in the women's doubles tennis final, while Hsu Yu-hsiou and Huang Tsung-hao claimed the men's doubles title at the Chengdu Universiade here on Saturday.
After Guo and Jiang gained an early lead of 5-0, Wu and Liang make an astonishing comeback, claiming seven consecutive games in a row to take the first set, and continued their strong performance in the second set to secure the crown 7-5, 6-4.
In the men's doubles final, Hsu and Huang defeated Jan Jermar and Victor Sklenka of the Czech Republic 6-3, 6-3. ■
