（圖／翻攝自CopenHill）從設計之初，就備受業界矚目的哥本哈根CopenHill能源發電廠，建成後更囊括了「哥本哈根最大的建築」，外牆同時擁有「世界最高的人造攀岩牆」並有著「世界最乾淨的發電廠」美稱等多項紀錄，是一座兼具燃燒垃圾發電，還可以徒步、滑雪、攀岩，同時結合咖啡廳、酒吧的複合式場域。

位於哥本哈根的工業區，由丹麥建築大師Bjarke Ingels率領建築設計事務所BIG所設計，CopenHill完美實踐了Bjarke所提出「一個可以永續發展的城市，不僅是要追求環境友好的未來，更要讓民眾有著豐富快樂的生活體驗。」的概念，於是發電廠的內部依工業機能需求設計並按照高度依次排列，傾斜的屋頂就成了國家地形相對平緩的丹麥人所期待已久「夏天可以滑草、冬天可以滑雪」的人造山坡。

為了讓民眾可以在城市中有著從山頂滑下來的體驗，BIG特別將屋頂坡度設計成約45度的傾斜，供民眾可從建築的高點向下滑行，並飽覽哥本哈根的天際線，或是在較低的斜坡上練習、享受滑雪的樂趣。

發電廠近30層樓的建築立面更被設計成可以一探廠館內部的半透明攀岩牆，變化多端的牆面路線、越向上攀爬難度越高，需要有豐富經驗的攀岩好手才能夠成功登頂。
