Join Artifact for a private Citadelle tasting experience at Tatler Cocktail Festival
This weekend at Tatler Cocktail Festival, immerse yourself in an exclusive and intimate experience at Artifact Bar, nestled discreetly in the heart of Basehall 02. Bar manager J Frank and head bartender Nishant Vargas invite you to embark on a journey through their latest seasonal menu, featuring Citadelle Réserve Gin.Citadelle's Réserve Gin undergoes a rather intriguing process of maturation. Firstly, it's aged for five months in casks made from acacia, cherry, chestnut, French oak and mulberry. The gin is then combined and refined in an eight-foot-tall, egg-shaped oak cask.
During the unique tasting experience, J and Nishant will provide an in-depth exploration of Citadelle Réserve, offering insights into its production, flavour profile, and the meticulous craftsmanship behind it. Guests will have the opportunity to indulge in a curated tasting of the spirit, guided by the expertise of these talented mixologists.
To fully showcase the versatility and complexity of Citadelle Réserve, three tasting portion cocktails will be served, each highlighting different facets of this remarkable gin. As you savour these handcrafted libations, J Frank and Nishant will share their creative process, inspirations, and the story behind each cocktail, providing a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the artistry of mixology.
Complementing the experience, delectable light bites will be served, perfectly paired to enhance the flavours of the cocktails. Additionally, guests will have the pleasure of partaking in a cherished Citadelle tradition—a gin apéro poured over a fresh oyster.
For those seeking an immersive journey into the world of Citadelle Réserve and Artifact Bar, two packages are available. The Couples Experience caters to parties of two, while the Group Experience accommodates parties of four to six, ensuring an intimate yet convivial atmosphere.
