Police to question Nana’s husband over investment deal
A complaint was lodged with the police by an investor who claims that he was duped into investing about 50 million baht in a business deal, which was later found to be non-existent, according to Pol. Col. Jamnan Chanthet, a police superintendent attached to the Cybercrime Investigation Bureau.
He also said that cybercrime officers might also question Rybena’s husband, rapper Prinya Intachai, as to whether he was aware of or involved in the Ponzi scheme allegedly operated by his wife, in which about 17 of her close friends claim to have been duped into investing about 190 million baht in a non-existent business deal.
A Ledger Nano X hardware wallet, which was seized by the police in a raid on Rybena’s home, is now being examined by officials from the Securities and Exchange Commission to uncover the cryptocurrency transactions.
Following her release on bail, Rybena went on a livestream yesterday selling concert tickets online, during which Prinya showed up with a birthday cake for her.
