March 29th, 2025

A rescue dog handling team and the “K9 USAR THAILAND” unit during a mission to search for victims trapped beneath the rubble of what was the 30-storey State Audit Office (SAO) building.

After the SAO building collapsed, rescue teams from across the country, including K9 USAR THAILAND, worked throughout that night, racing against time to save lives.

The K9 USAR Thailand team embraced K9 ‘Naree’ after successfully locating and rescuing two people, as well as one cat.

May 11th, 2025

A fire broke out at a furniture factory in Chalong Krung Soi 55, Lat Krabang District, Bangkok.

Firefighters fought to prevent it from spreading to nearby residential areas. The source of the fire was located in the basement.

Officials were unable to enter the building from the outset, due to the extreme heat. The factory was long and narrow, measuring approximately 300 metres in length and 45 metres in width.

July 30th, 2025

On the morning of the 4th day of armed border clashes between Thailand and Cambodia in Surin province, dozens of rockets landed in residential areas, reducing it to rubble.

Mrs. Thongrom Kasutjai, 65, through her tears said that she never imagined everything would be gone. After hearing the news, she did not dare return home until the situation began to improve.

“There were 7 or 8 people in the house. If we hadn’t evacuated that day, I don’t know what would have happened,” she told a Thai PBS reporter.

She added that she still does not know what to do next. She is fortunate that some important documents were recovered and several agencies have been offering assistance.

August 25th, 2025

‘Big Kung Fever’. At Kasetsart University, Lt Gen Boonsin Padklang, the former Commander of the Second Army Region, met with university staff and students for a special forum titled “Truth from the Border”, held in the Sutham Areekul Conference Hall of the ‘50th Anniversary Communications Building’.

The event had a warm and friendly atmosphere. Students and faculty staff took photos and wrote messages of encouragement for the then Second Army Region commander and frontline soldiers.

August 27th, 2025

The transfer of former monk ‘Alongkot’ and ‘Dr. B’, from the Crime Suppression Division to the Criminal Court for Corruption and Misconduct Cases for pre-trial detention. Police reportedly opposed bail. The two suspects were transported in separate vehicles.

August 29th, 2025

The now incarcerated former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, as he was leaving the Pheu Thai party’s headquarters, while avoiding questions from the media about the ‘14th-floor’ case.

The Supreme Court’s Criminal Division for Holders of Political Offices ruled on September 9th that the transfer of Thaksin out of prison to the Police General Hospital for treatment was unlawful and that the time he spent there is not to be counted as time served in prison. The court then ordered him back to prison to complete serving his one-year sentence.

September 5th, 2025

A staff cleaner adjusting the sign that reads “Prime Minister” in the House of Representatives, ahead of the vote to select the 32nd Prime Minister of Thailand.

The vote came after Paetongtarn Shinawatra was ousted because of her disastrous phone conversation with the Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen. Anutin Charnvirakul was subsequently voted in as the 32nd Prime Minister of Thailand, with major, but conditional support from the People’s party.

September 24th, 2025

The Anutin Cabinet’s first visit to Government House. The Prime Minister/Interior Minister, gathered his new Cabinet for a group photo on the lawn in front of the Thai Khu Fah Building. That evening, they gathered in the Amphorn Sathan Residential Hall, in the Dusit Palace, for an audience with their majesties and an oath-taking ceremony that evening.

October 25th, 2025

Mourners gathered at Chulalongkorn Hospital, many holding portraits of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother, kneeling and bowing to the ground. Many were in tears, expressing loyalty and profound gratitude after learning of Her Majesty’s passing.

November 27th, 2025

Image titled ‘Nothing Left’ – taken in the aftermath of severe flooding in Hat Yai district of Songkhla province, southern Thailand.

The natural disaster caused extensive damage to shops, vehicles and homes. Authorities reported more than 100 flood-related deaths.

December 21st, 2025

Image titled ‘Returning Home – Tribute to the Brave Soldiers of Hill 35’

Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, along with his delegation, attended a tribute and repatriation ceremony for Staff Sergeant Samreung Klangprakhon and Private Phanuphat Saosa, both of the 23rd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Battalion, who made the ultimate sacrifice while defending national sovereignty during clashes along the Thai-Cambodian border.

The families of the fallen soldiers attended the ceremony, which honoured the heroes as they were returned to their hometowns with full military honours.

Thousands of people lined the route, waving national flags in tribute to the brave fallen heroes of Hill 350.
