An NACC source said that the first summons was issued for the minister, leader of the United Thai Nation party, to report on May 15th, but he failed to appear, claiming he was visiting Laos at the time.
Pirapan also claimed that the summons was not properly served, which the NACC has denied.
The source said, however, that the second summons has been sent to Pirapan’s domicile, as shown on house registration documents and there was an official receipt for the summons.
The survival kits for flood victims, bearing Pirapan’s name, were donated by private companies.
