Army chief urges Thais to remain united

In the army’s press release, General Pana said that the most important thing, in the present circumstances, is for all Thais to remain united, to protect Thai sovereignty from ill-intentioned elements.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra called an urgent meeting today, with the Thai military’s top brass and Defence Minister Phumtham Wechayachai, to discuss an updated situation report from the Thai-Cambodian Border Situation Administration Centre.
Supreme Commander General Songwit Noonpackdee and Army Commander-in-Chief General Pana Klaewplodthuk were among the attendees.
