Khao Pad Krapao tops list of most popular delivery dishes this year

With 800,000 orders, Khao Pad Krapao, a spicy Thai stir-fry with holy basil with rice, has returned to the top of the list of the most delivered Thai dishes, according to the Foodpanda online food delivery platform.

Pad Krapao previously topped the list in 2022, but lost out to Khao Pad, or Thai fried rice, last year.

Foodpanda also described Khao Mun Kai (Hainanese chicken rice) as the dark horse, ranking fourth with 500,000 dishes delivered and the third for the most searched for.

The other most ordered dishes were Khao Pad, Som Tum Thai, Khao Mun Kai, Khanom Jeen (fermented rice noodles), Thai Milk Tea, Larb (spicy minced meat salad), Pad See Ew (stir-fried noodles with soy sauce), Som Tum Pa (a type of papaya salad) and Rad Na (stir-fried noodles with gravy).

The most searched for dishes were Som Tum, followed by noodles, Khao Mun Kai, spicy salad, fried chicken, Khanom Jeen (fermented rice noodles), porridge, Roti, Pad Thai and grilled chicken.
