Joint Press Briefing on Coalition Allies Scheduled This Afternoon

BANGKOK, Aug 21 (TNA) – The Pheu Thai party will hold a press briefing on the details of its coalition allies this afternoon, said Phue Thai deputy leader Phumtham Wechayachai.

He said the prospective coalition parties will meet at the Parliament around noon before holding a joint press briefing.

However, he did not disclose the details of the discussions, including the names of the coalition parties that will join the press conference today.

He asked everyone to wait for the press conference scheduled at 14:00. He confirmed that the coalition party deal for forming the government has been completed smoothly without any issues.

When asked if it can be confirmed that the candidate for Prime Minister from the Pheu Thai Party is Mr. Srettha Thavisin, Mr. Phumtham confirmed that it is indeed Mr. Srettha. (TNA)
