Trek routes and waterfalls in Doi Inthanon park closed for safety reasons

Doi Inthanon National Park in Chiang Mai has announced the temporary closure of the nature trekking routes to Pha Dok Siew and Mae Ya waterfall in the park for safety reasons.

The national park said that continuous rain over the past several days has resulted in stream overflows and flooding, which could endanger visitors venturing to the areas.

The national park has promised that, if the situation returns to normal and the dangers have subsided, the Mae Ya waterfall and Pha Dok Siew will be reopened.
