Thailand’s corruption rating drops

Denmark topped the index, followed by Finland, Singapore, New Zealand, Luxembourg and Norway.
Among ASEAN countries, Thailand ranked fifth, with Singapore leading, followed by Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Laos and the Philippines, Cambodia and Myanmar.
Singapore, Indonesia and Laos saw improvements in their rankings.
South Sudan was ranked the lowest, at 180th.
The leading global index is based on expert and business perceptions of corruption within a country’s public sector.
