PM Anutin meets top business leaders in attempt to boost national competitiveness
According to local media, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and his cabinet have invited over 35 high-level executives from 10 key industrial sectors to Government House.
The meeting is scheduled for 5pm today and is aimed at exchanging perspectives and brainstorming strategies to enhance Thailand’s economic competitiveness.
The prominent attendees represent the pillars of the Thai economy, categorised as follows:
· The Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry and Banking (JSCCIB) & The Tourism Council of Thailand:
o Dr. Poj Aramwattananont, chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Trade of Thailand.
o Pimjai Leeissaranukul, chairwoman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI).
o Payong Srivanich, chairman of the Thai Bankers' Association.
