Netizens rally for justice after husky set on fire in Songkhla
The owner of a Siberian Husky is asking for the public’s help in tracking down the individual who set his dog on fire in Muang district, Songkhla, last Friday night.
A Facebook user, TN Boonya, posted a message on Sunday reporting that his Siberian Husky was running along a road in Ban Laem Kwan when a man approached, poured gasoline on the dog, and set it on fire.
With flames covering its body, the dog ran back to its owner’s house, where the flames were quickly extinguished. The dog was then taken to a vet.
TN Boonya said the dog suffered serious burns, and its condition remains a concern.
A complaint was later filed with district police, and the owner is seeking the public's help in finding the perpetrator.
His post has attracted many sympathizers, who have expressed pity for the poor dog and vented their anger at the still-unidentified attacker. Some have also called for severe punishment to deter such acts of cruelty.
