Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani prepare evacuation plans in case border conflict intensified

In the north-eastern province of Ubon Ratchathani, where Thai and Cambodian forces clashed at the Chong Bok border pass on May 28th, Governor Adisak Noisuwan held an urgent meeting on Monday with six district chief officers, to develop an evacuation plan in case the conflict intensifies.
An informed source said that the plan includes muster points, temporary shelters and all the necessary facilities to take care of evacuees.
Similar meetings were held in Si Sa Ket province.
