Narathiwat violence kills four, including girl and blind woman

Initial investigations reveal that the assailants, on three motorcycles, stopped in front of a house in Tambon Kosit of Tak Bai district, opened fire and fled.
Three of the five people watching television inside the house were killed. They have been identified as nine-year-old Sasita Chankong, forty-six-year old Dam Chankong and fifty-nine-year-old Daeng Tunasuk. Chao Chankong, 44, and Pakinai Rangsao, 29, were injured and taken to hospital.
Forensics officers collected evidence at the scene.
Meanwhile, a 76-year-old blind woman, from Sungai Kolok district, was shot dead and her son was seriously injured in Chanae district.
The deceased victim was identified as Sa-ngai Sangyoi and her wounded son as Tatsanai Tangkong.
