กัมพูชาอวดผลงาน! - วันที่ 25 เม.ย. ซินหัว รายงานว่า รัฐบาลกัมพูชาเปิดเผยว่าปราบปรามเครือข่ายฉ้อโกงทางออนไลน์ (สแกมเมอร์) ทั่วประเทศกว่า 250 แห่งในช่วง 9 เดือนที่ผ่านมา

รวมถึงสั่งปิดกาสิโน 91 แห่ง และส่งตัวชาวต่างชาติ 33 สัญชาติ จำนวน 13,039 คนที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการฉ้อโกงทางออนไลน์กลับประเทศ โดยตั้งแต่กลางเดือนม.ค. ถึงวันที่ 19 เม.ย.ที่ผ่านมา มี 241,888 คนสมัครใจเดินทางออกจากกัมพูชา

รายงานระบุด้วยว่าการปราบปรามการฉ้อโกงทางออนไลน์เป็นภารกิจระยะยาวที่ต้องอาศัยความร่วมมือจากทุกภาคส่วนทั้งในกัมพูชาและระหว่างประเทศ โดยทางการย้ำความมุ่งมั่นในการขจัดเครือข่ายฉ้อโกงทางออนไลน์ พร้อมเรียกร้องให้สาธารณชนและประชาคมระหว่างประเทศตระหนักและสนับสนุนกัมพูชาในการต่อสู้กับอาชญากรรมดังกล่าว
