มีผู้เสียชีวิตอย่างน้อย 1 ราย เป็นพนักงานขับรถไฟ และมีผู้โดยสารได้รับบาดเจ็บกว่า 40 ราย เจ้าหน้าที่สาธารณสุขกล่าวว่าในจำนวนนี้ราว 20 รายมีอาการสาหัส รวมถึงนักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติด้วย

รถไฟมุ่งหน้ามาชูปิกชู - There has been a horror train collision on the Machu Pichu line in Peru. Police are investigating the collision between trains operated by Inca Rail S.A. and PeruRail S.A., which mainly transport tourists to the iconic site. A health official said about 20 people were in relatively serious condition. A police officer added that foreign tourists were among the injured.
