ค่ายเกม Merge Games และทีมพัฒนา Motion Twin ได้ทวิตข้อความประกาศเตรียมวางจำหน่ายเกม Dead Cells เวอร์ชั่น Action Game of the Year ในรูปแบบแผ่นดิสก์ ในวันที่ 20 สิงหาคม 2019 บนแพลตฟอร์ม PlayStation 4 และ Nintendo Switch ในโซนอเมริกาเหนือ ส่วนโซนยุโรปจะวางจำหน่ายในวันที่ 23 สิงหาคม 2019
