不少人對刺繡的印象都是平面的，但隨著近年刺繡大行其道，不但有各種風格、主題、特色衍生出來，百花齊放，更有人研發新技巧和玩法，例如將繡出立體的物件，巧用繡線製造出不同幻覺，甚至揉合其他材質，創造出各款逼真、夢幻的藝術品。
1.@ipnot －神還原拉絲Pizza
來自日本的Ipot是一位全職家庭主婦，現時卻同時是位人氣刺繡家，甚至曾被Chanel以藝術家的身份邀請參加展覽！約在8年前，她在市集中遇上一幅刺繡作品，被它深深吸引，開始了自學之路。她的作品主要是食物，作品手工細膩，繡出的食物都十分逼真。至於她成名的契機，在於繡拉麵時把幾根繡線留在外，她靈機一觸，想到用筷子夾起線條再拍下來，2D刺繡頓然變成了3D作品，後來她更繡出拉絲pizza、倒咖啡、唧茄汁等教人疑幻似真的作品，令平面刺繡增添動感，令人見到都想食（誤）！

第二位要介紹的刺繡家同樣來自日本。這位有雕塑藝術背景的女生，繡出的作品亦有如雕塑品般立體，更教人以假亂真。她的作品題材大多是日常生活中常見的東西，例如零食、早餐、牙簽等。每次完成作品後，她更會設立拍攝場景，將刺繡作品與她臨摹的真實物件放在一起，不但能增添幻覺，更考驗到大家的眼力，與刺繡大玩捉迷，讓你不得不瞇眼或把圖片放大，才能找到刺繡作品的蹤影！

英國刺繡家Pippa Haynes現居於威爾特郡（Wiltshire）的郊外小鎮，她的作品深受大自然啟發，以植物為主，她特別喜歡繡蘑菇和花卉。雖然她是自學成家，卻擁有不同獨特的刺繡技巧，除了根據物件原型繡出逼真的立體作品，又會在平面刺繡中將一部分繡成立體，增添層次。如果繡花的話，她更會繡出每片花瓣，再組合起來，成品宛如真實花卉。她有時更會將作品如標本般收藏，更添逼真感覺。

The best and scariest bit of finishing the heavy embroidery part, cutting out. I love getting to this point because it when everything starts to really come together and you can see the form you have worked on for so long come to life. The other side is that you have to hope you don’t cut any of the threads in half as you’re doing it. To minimise the risk of this I generally do a rough cut first, cutting close to the embroidery but leaving any straggly hard to get to bits. Then I do a second cut which is much more precise and easier to do without bits of material still attached to, it’s still nerve wracking though! 😱

相比起以上刺繡家，來自波蘭的藝術家Justyna Wolodkiewicz不追求刺繡作品與真實物件的像真度，反而樂於創造出自己獨特的世界，連運用的刺繡技巧也是獨一無二，以在色彩鮮豔、錯綜複雜的紋理結構中插入軟陶泥雕塑，塑造出一個個繽紛又夢幻的3D小世界。有時想行開下忘記咗呢個世界，不妨欣賞下她的作品，或能讓你產生投入在另一世界的幻覺。
