跨性別者不是人？女神卡卡開砲：教育政府正確的性別認知

女神卡卡（Lady Gaga）從出道以來，一直都是以敢說敢言的個性和大膽的作風成為眾人關注的焦點。她同時也是LGBTQ＋族群權益的擁護者，也成立了「天生完美基金會」（Born This Way Foundation）保護和防止那些因為性別議題而遭受霸凌迫害的人們。如今卡卡的敵人不是欺人太甚的小伙子，而是整個政府。

根據紐約時報報導，美國總統唐納川普（Donald Trump）近日傳出將「改變」人們對於性別的認知，他下令美國衛生及公共服務部（Department of Health and Human Services）將根據禁止基於性別歧視的「聯邦民權法教育法修定案第九條」（Title IX），建立性別的合法定義。

在最新的備忘錄草案上，美國政府這樣定義性別：「性別從生物觀點來看是清楚的，是有科學根據的，是客觀的，並且便於管理的。」、「性別是由出生時或出生前的生物特徵，來判斷一個人到底是男是女。」

這樣的說法直接危及到跨性別者實質的權益，也讓他們在社會處境上受到衝擊，此舉不僅引發全美民眾群起反彈，多位歌手、演員與藝人也意識到事情嚴重性，紛紛跳出來說話，而女神卡卡更是發了三篇貼文，表達她對此政策的不滿。

作為一位不斷倡導性別平權的勇士，女神卡卡先發言，認為政府「活在另一個宇宙中」，但這不影響「我們對於自己的認識」，卡卡也呼籲大家「團結起來，共同發聲，好好去教育我們的政府什麼是真實的性別認知。」並且附上一篇對於性別詞彙解說的文章。

卡卡隨後又再次發言，對所有因為政府的新政策而受傷害的跨性別者們喊話。「你們可能覺得今天自己被視而不見，不被重視，但要知道這不是人性的真實面。」卡卡對川普政府下重話：「這只是一位領導者被自己的無知驅使，展現給大家看他的這一面。」

其他歌手、演員與名人們也發揮自身影響力，如同卡卡的做法，在推特文章後面加上#TransRightsAreHumanRights（跨性別者的權益也是人權）和#WontBeErased（不會被抹滅）的標籤，訴求跨性別者同樣身為人，理當要同等對待。

主演《摩登家庭》（Modern Family）的演員傑西泰勒弗格森（Jesse Tyler Ferguson）更是直接戳破川普在兩年前發表過的「謊言」，表示「我也沒有多生氣，因為我們一開始就不相信你了。」
