《俠盜獵車手 6》疑似遭駭事件還沒擺平，現在卻傳出可能有重大進展。路透社報導（Reuters）英國警方在牛津郡逮捕一名涉嫌犯下駭客案件的 17 歲少年。現在有傳聞指出，這名少年有可能參與了 Rockstar Games 的入侵事件。

一名科技記者 Matthew Keys 旋即在自己的 Twttier 引用了其他消息來源，聲稱警方證實遭逮捕的 17 歲少年，參與了 Rockstar Gamers 以及 Uber 遭駭案件。
在數個多小時後，Matthew Keys 再度更新稱 FBI 並未就此事發表任何聲明，相關偵查仍在繼續調查。後續另有其他零星外電來源，聲稱警方內線消息透露了相同風向。

倫敦市警方在稍早針對案件作出進一步的說明，稱這名涉及駭客犯罪行為的 17 歲少年，被指控兩項違反保釋條件，以及兩項濫用電腦的犯罪行為。
