有點意外又好像不意外。中國網易今（31）日宣布完全收購《底特律：變人》、《暴雨殺機》、《超能殺機：兩個靈魂》的法國開發商 Quantic Dream。這是網易收購的第一家歐洲工作室。
根據雙方聲明稿表示，本次收購建立在 2019 年網易入股之後產生的各種良性關係。Quantic Dream 將獲得網易的全力支持，維持獨立營運，同時著眼開發、發行業務。
2018 年 4 月 Quantic Dream 憑藉《底特律：變人》大獲成功；2019 年網易入股展開策略結盟；2020 年轉為獨立開發商，結束索尼的合作關係，作品不再侷限 PlayStation 平台發售，同時另外開闢發行業務。

網易近年積極對外發展，從延攬前 Capcom《惡靈古堡》製作人小林裕幸，挖角 SEGA《人中之龍》總監名越稔洋建立「名越工作室」，以及《英雄不再》須田剛一的 Grasshopper Manufacture 工作室加入等。
