在即將推出的 iOS 18.3、iPadOS 18.3、macOS 15.3之後，將預設開啟 Apple Intelligence 功能。
Apple 已推出 iOS 18.3 RC 版，代表 iOS 18.3 即將正式上市，且根據 iOS 18.3、iPadOS 18.3及macOS Sequoia 15.3網頁資類顯示，新安裝或更新到最新版本的iPhone、iPad、Mac 用戶，在裝置重開機後，會自動啟用 Apple Intelligence，而在啟用後裝置才會連網下載 Apple Intelligence 模型。
在此之前，Apple 是在 iOS 18.1、iPadOS 18.1、macOS 15.1 開啟推送 Apple Intelligence 功能，除了限制美國及採用英文語系的國家及地區使用外，還必須在「設定」下的「Apple Intelligence & Siri」中，選擇「取得 Apple Intelligence」，才能啟用這項功能。
而預計在 iOS 18.3、iPadOS 18.3、macOS 15.3之後，Apple Intelligence成為預設啟動。而要關閉 Apple Intelligence 則必須反過來，在「設定」下的「Apple Intelligence & Siri」中選擇「關閉 Apple Intelligence」。
當然，要能使用 Apple Intelligence 功能， iPhone 裝置限定必須為 iPhone 15 Pro 系列、iPhone 16 全系列才能夠使用，也就是必須為搭載 A17 Pro 以上的晶片；而 iPad 也要搭載 A17 Pro 及 M 系列晶片；Mac 也需是採用 M 系列晶片版本才支援 Apple Intelligence。
