外交部長吳釗燮昨（8日）晚間在推特PO出台灣援外口罩裝箱寄送現場照，向國際盟友喊話：「台灣來了！」而裝箱的視覺設計巧思也成了矚目焦點。
外交部推特昨晚PO文表示，「這幾天我們忙著把要幫助其他國家對抗新冠病毒的口罩裝箱。盟友和朋友們，台灣來了！我們將共同擊退這個挑戰。」最後署名外交部長吳釗燮（JW）。

發文附的照片，可見一箱箱口罩疊成至少五大車，外箱包裝有英文大字寫著「台灣幫得上忙」（Taiwan Can Help），並以中華民國國旗及外交部推動參與世界衛生組織的「台灣聽診器」為主視覺。
稍晚，外交部再貼出外交部、郵局和華航工作人員協助打包、裝箱、運送的辛勤身影，表示「同心協力力量大」「我們的同仁都為在新冠病毒疫情中貢獻一份微薄的心力感到自豪。」

台灣將捐贈1000萬片口罩給疫情嚴重國家的醫療人員，包括美國200萬片、歐洲11國共700萬片及15個邦交國共100萬片。美國國務卿麥克蓬佩奧隨即也發文感謝台灣捐助200萬片口罩支援醫療人員，讚許台灣的開放和慷慨是對抗新冠病毒的世界模範。
