勇士今天作客洛杉磯，最終在延長賽被快艇擊敗，最近三場吞下兩敗，雖然不是什麼大問題，不過賽後顯然更衣室內的氣氛卻不太好，起因就是正規時間結束前Draymond Green的絕殺選擇，他沒有選擇傳球發生失誤，甚至連嘗試投籃機會都沒有。
這也讓Klay Thompson和Kevin Durant都質疑這選擇，KD更是相當不爽，在延長賽開始前的暫停就和Green起了口角，在板凳區互相爭執，最後是DeMarcus Cousins和Andre Iguodala在中間隔開才結束。
而賽後，據勇士記者Anthony Slater報導，Durant在記者抵達之前就很快離開了球隊更衣室，根本沒有接受訪問，看起來賽後依然很氣憤。

當被問及為何沒有在正規時間最後喊暫停時，Steve Kerr說道：「我幾乎要喊暫停了，但你知道，比賽還剩6秒，我們處於轉換進攻之中，KD和K湯也在場上，我喜歡去推進球，不讓快艇在防守端站好位置。我通常都會那樣做，如果時間倒轉，我肯定會喊一個暫停，因為我們的策略沒有奏效。那就是我在匆忙之中做出的一個判斷，我們（教練團）喜歡場上的狀況，喜歡場上的人員組成，我們就是讓他們自己打，但結果沒奏效。」
