賽後Rose繼續在休息室接受採訪，談及最後時刻的絕殺，Rose表示，本來應該是要和Karl-Anthony Towns打個擋拆的，但當他看到是一名新秀（Mikal Bridges）在防守他後，他決定使出單打。「是個新秀在防守我，對吧？一個新秀，拜託了，那種情況我必須單吃他。」Rose說道。
