《英雄聯盟》S9世界賽的最後一戰以 FPX 直落三 G2 奪冠結尾，前者打野選手 Tian 在系列戰中的表現受到歐美網友大力讚賞，直說他簡直是天，拿下系列賽MVP是實至名歸。而歐洲隊伍連續兩年遭直落三屈居世界亞軍這點也被拿出來大做文章，甚至有人直接預測了明年的戲碼會是 RNG 對決 SPY。以下是歐美網友們對這場系列賽的看法：
