สองดาราเกาหลีชื่อดัง "ซงจุงกิ" และ "ซองเฮเคียว" ประกาศข่าวช็อก! เตรียมหย่ากันหลังแต่งงาน 1 ปี 8 เดือน
ทนายความส่วนตัวของ ซงจุงกิ ได้ออกมาเปิดเผยจดหมายอย่างเป็นทางการ เมื่อวันที่ 26 มิถุนายนว่า ได้ส่งเรื่องขอหย่าไปทางศาลแล้วในฐานะตัวแทนของ ซงจุงกิ
ล่าสุด ซงจุงกิ ได้มีการระบุเพิ่มเติมผ่านทนายความส่วนตัวว่า "ตอนแรกผมคิดว่า อยากจะกล่าวคำขอโทษไปยังคนที่รักและชื่นชมผมเกี่ยวกับข่าวร้าย ผมได้ตัดสินใจยกเลิกการใช้ชีวิตคู่กับ ซองเฮเคียว แล้ว ไม่อยากให้เรื่องราวนี้เป็นความผิดของใครคนใดคนหนึ่ง และหวังว่า จะให้มันเป็นเรื่องระหว่างเราสองคนเท่านั้น ผมอยากขอร้องให้ทุกๆ คนเข้าใจเราสองคน ว่า มันเป็นช่วงเวลาที่ยากลำบากมากที่จะเอ่ยถึงรายละเอียดส่วนตัวต่างๆ ได้ ผมให้สัญญาว่าจะต่อสู้และฝ่าฟันผ่านห้วงเวลาที่ยากลำบากนี้ไปให้ได้เร็วที่สุด และจะทำหน้าที่นักแสดงให้ดีที่สุดต่อไปในอนาคต"

I have begun the process of filing for divorce from Song Hye-kyo.

ต่อมา United Artists Agency (UAA) ต้นสังกัดของ ซองเฮเคียว มีแถลงการณ์ถึงเรื่องออกมาเช่นกันว่า ซองเฮเคียวกำลังหย่าสามีของเธอ หลังจากทั้งสองคนพิจารณาอย่างถี่ถ้วนแล้ว โดยให้เหตุผลว่า สาเหตุของเลิกราเป็นเพราะอุปนิสัยที่แตกต่างกัน และทั้งสองไม่สามารถเอาชนะความแตกต่างนี้ได้จนนำไปสู่การตัดสินครั้งนี้
