The 22nd Shanghai International Film Festival, which was held this month in the Chinese metropolis, has come to an end for another year.
The event, one of the region's most influential film festivals, featured Chinese actor and director Wu Jing, as its official ambassador, with celebrated figures from the world of cinema, including Turkish director Nuri Bilge Ceylan, the jury president, and Chinese director Ning Hao, among the jury members.
The jury awarded a series of Golden Goblet Awards in numerous fields, including best film, best director, best actor and best actress.
Many of China's leading cinema figures were honoured with awards this year.
Here are what some of the celebrities wore on the red carpet during the festival.
Hong Kong rapper, singer and dancer Jackson Wang wore a Giorgio Armani dinner suit.
Mainland Chinese actress Tang Wei was dressed in a Valentino haute couture dress.
Taiwanese actress and model Hannah Quinlivan wore a Valentino haute couture gown and Boucheron jewellery, comprising a Cypris swan ring with black sapphires and a Lierre de Paris necklace and earrings.
Actress Zhang Ziyi wore a Ralph & Russo couture gown from the brand's spring/summer 2017 collection, paired with Chopard jewellery.
Actor Hu Ge sported a Giorgio Armani dinner suit.
Actress Zhong Chuxi was dressed in a star-covered black gown from Louis Vuitton's fall/winter 2019 collection and wore B Blossom jewellery.
Singer-actor Lu Han wore a custom-made Gucci embroidered dinner suit.
Actress Guan Xiaotong, Lu's girlfriend, was dressed in a Giambattista Valli dress.
Actor Xu Weizhou was seen on the red carpet in a Givenchy haute couture suit.
Taiwanese-Hong Kong actress Shu Qi opted for a Miu Miu pink tulle gown embellished with sequins and crystals, coupled with Bulgari jewellery.
Mainland Chinese actress Yao Chen wore Alexander McQueen creations at the festival, including an optical white cotton pique midi dress with tulip sleeves, a pleated circle skirt, together with a studded double belt, jewelled choker and bangle.
Hong Kong actor Aaron Kwok wore a navy blue Hugo Boss suit and striped tie.
Taiwanese singer and actress Amber Kuo chose a Celine dress and Bulgari jewellery.
Taiwanese-born Canadian actor, singer and model Eddie Peng, brand ambassador of Berluti, dressed in a grey marble jacquard suit and a silk marble print shirt and tie, and a pair of black Venezia leather Alessandro Edge shoes, all from the French label's fall/winter 2019 collection.
