Spotify announced that its Lyrics feature is now available for all its free and premium users in Indonesia.
The feature allows users to view real-time lyrics on the Spotify app, which will be shown in the song’s language. It can be accessed by tapping the Lyrics tab at the bottom of the Now Playing screen within the app.
To license the lyrics, the streaming service is partnering with MusixMatch, which claims to be the world’s largest catalog of song lyrics and translations.
“Lyrics has been one of the most requested features by Spotify users and we’re excited to make song lyrics available to listeners in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia. Listeners can now get to know their favorite tracks - and the lyrics behind them - even better,” said Boon Ken Wong of Spotify in a statement.
