TEMPO.CO, Jakarta -The data from Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) shows that Indonesia is currently ranked 34th from 188 countries with confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases.
The counter as of Friday noon, June 5, shows that Indonesia has reported 28,828 cases nationwide, which is 0.43 percent of the world’s 6,589,090 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
Meanwhile, on the website’s global death toll chart, Indonesia reported 1,721 deaths or 0.44 percent from the global death toll that amounted to 391,249 lives. Indonesia's death toll ranks 22nd worldwide.
Indonesia is currently seeing 8,892 recoveries while on the global scale recoveries have amounted to 2,850,411 lives.
In general, the Johns Hopkins University’s COVID-19 dashboard still places the United States of America as the country with the most cases of 1,872,660 positive patients. Following the U.S. in second and third are Brazil (614,941) and Russia (440,538).
