In Hong Kong, the city that never sleeps, the work culture is notoriously about overworking. In April, The Hong Kong Confederate of Trade Unions found that 20 per cent of the city's three million employees worked an average of 55 hours a week last year.
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is about getting fit, and of course, getting enough rest. So it couldn't be a better time for the arrival of the 24-hour gym. These new establishments are making the daily workout a lot easier to squeeze into one's busy schedule. Flexibility is the name of the game.
