Party chief of Pudong New Area in Shanghai under probe

BEIJING, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- Zhu Zhisong, secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Pudong New Area District Committee in east China's Shanghai, is under investigation by the country's top anti-graft body for suspected severe violations of Party discipline and laws.

Zhu, also a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, is currently under investigation by the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Commission of Supervision. ■
