NEW DELHI, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- People use different vehicles to travel through flooded streets in Amritsar, a district of Punjab state in northern India, after torrential rain hit the area.
With a La Nina or a cooling of the central Pacific Ocean expected to take root, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted a rainy September with several parts of north India to receive heavy rainfall.
