BEIJING, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- President of Xinhua News Agency Fu Hua met with Venezuelan Minister of Communication and Information Freddy Nanez here on Friday.
Noting that the China-Venezuela relations were upgraded to an all-weather strategic partnership last September, Fu said Xinhua is willing to work together with the Venezuelan side to tell the story of win-win cooperation and people-to-people exchange, and contribute media strength to deepen mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples.
Nanez expressed the willingness to work with Xinhua to jointly implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, further deepen media exchanges and cooperation, explore the responsibilities and missions of the media in the face of technological changes, and share opportunities and meet challenges together. ■
