BEIJING, Jan. 27 (Xinhua) -- President of Xinhua News Agency Fu Hua met with Thai Ambassador to China Chatchai Viriyavejakul in Beijing on Monday.
The two sides exchanged views on enhancing communication and cooperation between China and Thailand in the field of news reporting.
They noted that since the establishment of diplomatic ties 50 years ago, China-Thailand relations have maintained healthy and stable development, and both countries should take media cooperation as a link to further promote friendly exchanges and mutual trust between the two peoples. ■
