BHOPAL, India, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- Students are involved in showcasing colorful and vivid paintings in a palm painting competition held in Bhopal, central India, to develop their interest and sense of belonging toward wildlife.

Wildlife Week is an annual celebration from Oct. 1 to Oct. 7, organized by Van Vihar National Park and Zoo in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh state, aiming to ensure public participation in the conservation and promotion of wildlife.
